I'll publish a full review once I’ve used it for more than a few hours.

First impressions so far:

* Display is a bit lower res than I’d like but still good

* Build is pretty good, feels solid, not as light as an iPad Air or equivalent Android tablet

* Love the rather big edges around the display, makes it easy to hold

* OS is mostly vanilla Android (13) with very little customization but they’re working on a major release, as far as I know

* I moved about ~50 open tabs that I haven’t touched in months to their Reader app and read most of them yesterday :)

* Reading something while in bed and falling asleep right after putting it aside is a great experience. Didn’t even happen with my Android tablet in full Night Mode (reducing blue light)

So far so good. If this was ~400EUR I’d recommend everyone to ditch their e-ink devices for it. But the price is hefty and the display’s DPI isn’t close to the sharpness of my Kindle Oasis.

Thanks, very helpful! I was thinking of waiting for gen2 or gen3 before getting one. Kindle does the job so far.
