I like to make a QR linking to my Npub profile page.
But most QR’s in the #nostr app don’t work/ link to your Npub outside of the app. What whould you suggest!? #asknostr

Use a QR code generator, paste your Primal page link in and use that.
Was thinking about this. But was looking for more ways. But need to be the most simple way to onboard more people to Nostr. thanks

Yes but I believe when you don’t have installed nostur app It says it will not recognize the QR this is what a friend of my had when I used his phone. True? I see now only Primal is the most smart way? To onboard people by QR?
Technically linking it well is on the protocol level. Operating systems can use a protocol handler. For email it's mailto: , for web http: etc. for Nostr it's nostr:npub... . And in the operating system you decide which client you will use by which protocol.
Now the issue is that Nostr is not mainstream yet so there are no default client apps at the operating system, so when linking to nostr:npub... , most devices can't handle it.
So in the time between before it might get mainstream we need to help the user by using another protocol to bridge to the link. http is very popular and common, so njump.me and nosta.me are client independent solutions that help with onboarding and showing a profile. Personally I prefer nosta.me

Or, you can create your own simple html profile page with nostr stuff in your own way. I assume you do own the nostrpopArt domain and add that html to a subdomain.
