It’s weird how few people understand the need for decentralized protocols where the users own their content.

I’ve seen people on other networks say they don’t care about decentralization, they just want a Twitter clone that isn’t owned by Egon Musk or Mark Faceberg, and that only works if there’s no company.

There’s an argument that they will care when they realize it’s actually important, but I don’t share that opinion.

Agreed. I also think it is weird how many people don't seem to care about privacy, or that the big tech companies gather and sell their data. Ignorance truly is bliss, I guess.

There will always be people that make the choice of freedom over convenience. We just need to accept it and create a better future for those not willing to be subjugated.

I only want to be around those people anyway.
