To be fair, coinbase always goes down when bitcoin makes a move. It's become a tradition. In fact, it would have been quite rude of them to act all resilient and remain online.
All is as it should be.
at this point it's akin to standard procedure at co(i)nbase to cut out when #Bitcoin is shooting up. no call needed.
