Other App Stores isn't the guaranteed solution. You need users to be able to selectively install packages directly or else they will just create a cartel of allowed thought.
Why isn't it like this already?
Are they avoiding malicious apps running people's phones like say Limewire and Kazaa files back in the day?
Or side loading apps.
This is mostly a bad bill. Market pressures are more important (and moral) than government pressures.

Well if some recent US boycotts are anything to go by, market pressure can work pretty well.
Ive have a decade long Apple boycott going and I keep trying to add more people. Too many want to jack into the convenient control matrix unfortunately.
