Was looking more into your issue from yesterday. Might want to look at the log analytics in goaccess to see if one client agent is causing the trouble. I posted a video this am and according to void.cat used almost 2GB bandwidth but Amethyst shows only 60 views of the note.
So maybe a client is caching everything in a persons feed or similar behavior.
