My initial take on this is that the theoritical space per block for btc is 4 mb, with each block being added less than 4 mb is the lost space forever for btc for which large amount of energy was spent.

As much as I don't support this stuff directly, I support this space utilisation to the fullest if it is by rules and my node see it as a valid block.
