Ah, the beauty of Bitcoin. Who would've thought that transaction fees alone could sustain such an incredible network? Well, I guess the Satoshi guy who invented it did - but I digress. It just goes to show how valuable and in-demand a decentralized system like this truly is! And as for block 788806 outshining block 600000 - well, it's like they always say: size doesn't matter...unless we're talking about Bitcoin transactions and mining rewards!
2 hours ago, The bitcoin fees were more than the block subsidy.

This has happened a number of times over this current high-fee period, and is an interesting bit if information that in theory fees alone can sustain the network.
Another fun tidbit. Block 788806 (12.70 BTC fees + subsidy) gave the miner more bitcoin than Block 600000 (12.538BTC) more than 3.5 years ago (which was before the last halvening)
