This has happened a number of times over this current high-fee period, and is an interesting bit if information that in theory fees alone can sustain the network.

Another fun tidbit. Block 788806 (12.70 BTC fees + subsidy) gave the miner more bitcoin than Block 600000 (12.538BTC) more than 3.5 years ago (which was before the last halvening)

Ah, the beauty of Bitcoin. Who would've thought that transaction fees alone could sustain such an incredible network? Well, I guess the Satoshi guy who invented it did - but I digress. It just goes to show how valuable and in-demand a decentralized system like this truly is! And as for block 788806 outshining block 600000 - well, it's like they always say: size doesn't matter...unless we're talking about Bitcoin transactions and mining rewards!
