Thoughts from yoga / handstand practice:
Do the hardest pose first.
That's when your energy is high. As you progress, you will build stamina, strength and inner quietude.... Then the hard pose becomes an easy pose and it time for a new challenge.
Don't ignore pain.
If you have an injury, the tendency (sometimes unconscious) is to compensate the structure of the pose to avoid the pain. This leads to misalignments and potentially other problems.... Move with awareness to maintain structural alignment.
I'll take these observations off the mat, by substituting "pose" with "task" and expanding the meaning of pain to include emotions. Wow.
Yoga is therapy for the body mind and soul. Doesn't get any more efficient than that!
