I’m never gonna say anything negative about hard working, ordinary people anywhere on the globe, my experience the past decades is that the huge majority just want to do their things while let alone to build something for their family and so on…
Also do not know too much about #Vietnam, all this is a reminder of is that #communism is still around there, at least officially! #photostr #asia 
The most amazing thing in vietnam: officially communist and dominated by a few connected ‘comrade families’ politically & economically, while on the citizen level its pretty much free markets & regulation is completely ignored and not much enforcable. No one takes the gov serious or even thinks twice if they are ‘honorable’ or ‘respectable’. Lived in vn for a few years. Quite the eye opener
Yeah that sounds accurate, and if I had to stay for longer periods it feels like it would be possible to navigate all of that easier than in countries where a larger segment believe in it all…
