I think there is a way to play it on linux but you need the Steam version, I have the Gog one. I also keep a partition with Windows only for the games that are not running on Linux.

I wanted to reinstall as AtlasOS (Windows mod for gaming with minimal tracking) but never took the time. I just keep Windows 10, disable as much shit as possible and running almost anything but games.
