You can find videos on YouTube about how to stamp your seed phrase using stainless washers. It's a good cheaper option. Much more forgiving if you mess up a word too.

I didn't use washers yet but interested to give it a go. Stamping isn't so easy as it looks though or fun
Stamping washers takes forever.the Cold Plate and punching tool from coinkite is worth the sats.
Is it better than the cheaper kits on Amazon and worth the extra?
I haven't tried Amazon kits. I like the Cold Steel because you punch the first 4 letters of each word with a tool. It's fast.
If you ever need to destroy it, punching more letters is easier than grinding steel.
