NIP-46 was called Nostr Connect.

yeah, nostr connnect can refer to this proprietary service nsec.app thing that does nip46. so its not necessarily 'taken' perse, but in use

but i believe thats what semi means..

Yeah, I think I might instead call it Nostr App Connect. It’s a generalization of NWC.
