Anger is good, it projects you forward. So, anger is pointless while sitting still.

Constructive anger my pleb, constructive anger. Feel it, and leave it behind. Joy is the objective, and you got to pick. Is it going to be anger or fear?

You can’t do it alone. Your disgust is a powerful ally. It tells you what to exclude. Your trust will tell you what to bring along.

If you do not move forward, the only option becomes sadness. You got to pick, is it going to be sadness or joy?

I don’t think anger or any emotion is bad. What’s more important is being able to self-regulate, so your emotions don’t lead you to becoming destructive whether to yourself or others. Your feelings are real, but they are not always an accurate indicator of how you should respond to a situation.

From an evolutionary psychology point of view, your emotions are the super programs of your behavior. They serve the specie more than yourself, but they serve both. All your other programs are handles by the core emotions, and their dyads. Your behavior is controlled by your emotions and your consciousness often has little to do with it.

Emotions can be corrupted, it’s called manipulation. But emotions can be healed. What do I mean by that… that it is possible to teach a person to react to the emotional impulse in a way that is not self defeating. If this then that…

You don’t auto regulate your emotions, you learn to regulate your reaction to them.

That’s exactly what I meant.
