Still a few rough edges but I would dare to say that Asahi Fedora Gnome on M1 is one of the best setups I've experienced.

Blazing fast, good graphics/rendering, superb battery life, and a great open source OS

I can imagine that!! It makes me wonder, how do I get started to accomplish this? Start with reading the Asahi docs as a first step I suppose. I also need to create a partition too (and make a decent backup just in case)

Run the script and the installer will create the partition for you. Having a decent backup is a good idea. Read up on the Sonoma bug just in case.
