So my favorite video chat app, Jitsi, has started requiring login with google, fb, or github. WTF. The entire reason for using Jitsi is privacy. It's an open source, encrypted video chat platform that has never required any sort of login. It saves my room title and name, so in order to host a meeting all i have to do is go to the page and share a link. I'm quite pissed that whomever is in charge over there has caved to the evil.
