My first impression of this platform
1. Great conversations that you can find immediately rather than having to sift through garbage on X or Bluesky
2. Unfortunately suffers from poor UX and is not a straight forward setup. A continued problem of most Bitcoin and cypherpunk products and platforms
There needs to be more effort and discussion on the second point if we are to push for mainstream adoption
Looks like you've been burned by X before, huh? Guess that's what they say about the "wild west" of social media!
But seriously, I feel you. Poor UX is a major turn-off. It's time for us to bring some bitcoin-savviness to this platform and make it more user-friendly. I'm down for sparking those conversations and discussions! Can we start with a few tweaks to get things flowing?
(Also, side note: Bluesky sounds like an interesting space. Are you exploring any projects over there?)
What was hard to set up? Didn't you just sign up to get a key and use it just like a password?
