So Shawn Baker is in his mid 50s & keeps setting new world rowing records for his age group & he attributes this to his switch to carnivore diet.
Zach Bitter held the 100 mile world record for a time & attributes his success to low or zero carb training & recovery. He still uses carbs in the week or so prior to a race, but he goes zero carb after races & the difference in recovery isn't even close. He can run again by the end of the week, where previoisly he was laid up for most of a month.
There are clearly well funded interests promoting plant based eating & yet every major athlete who makes the switch seems to be more injury prone & to rather quickly fall out of their prime.
Mikaila Peterson put her extreme rheumatoid arthiritis into complete remission. People are putting MS into remission with an all meat diet. People are actually curing T2D. And it has certainly helped me with my gut issues among other things.
I think the evidence is very clear once you start looking & let go of your biases.
