You have to check if the old nas used zfs or raid and make sure the new one is configured for the same

That or if you can't get them to register at all (on a properly configured device) you might have to see if the drive didn't get zapped in the lightning strike.

This is that which makes me nervous. Gonna go find out tomorrow.

Are the drives spinning up? Have you tried accessing them via another computer directly, like with a desktop PC?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
