Say a bitaxe or something, the sun comes up in the morning, enough sunlight and it kicks on, sun rises in the sky and with full sun the miner starts hashing at full potential. But then it gets cloudy, so the miner scales back to how much the solar panel can produce until sun sets when panel stops producing enough electricity and the miner shuts off.
