on how to set up your own Bitcoin node

I must say I’m once again amazed. This really looks amazing wth 😅

Connecting your wallets to your own node seems awesome, I don’t quite get why I should do it tho…

I mean, to which node are they connected now? Can I find out somehow?

This might help. 🤙

It helps a bit. But I still don’t which node I’m using now 😅

It might not be easy to find. I couldn’t find it in Blue Wallet, but here’s how it looks in Nunchuk for example.

So that is your own node then? Or a random stranger?

That’s Nunchuk’s node. I think all wallets provide a default (most likely their own).

As another example, here’s how it looks in Sparrow desktop. They provide a good article explaining the tradeoffs when getting set up.

Allright then. Nice! :)
