Is that tallow soap? If so, do you do anything different to it compared to cooking with it? I guess it's the same but you just add a few extras to it like a scent etc?

I actually prefer it unscented. It's just tallow and a lye solution. I melt the tallow, make up the lye by adding it to water then pour the lye solution into the tallow and blend it until it's the consistency of pudding. Then into the mould to set. 48 hrs later I cut it up and leave it to cure for 6 weeks.

There are soap calculatorsonline you can use to work out the right amount of lye solution to tallow.
