We haven't updated the section yet and aren't really sure how to deal with it. There are still MTP implementations available for macOS.

I found a pretty cool app called LocalSend that does file transfer over WiFi. The downside is you have to install clients on both devices and disable device level VPN.

Installing an app has vastly different security tradeoffs. Graphene can't control this and limit the attack surface.
