WH is our home away from home. It isnβt a publicly traded stock or else we would have bought shares by now. Bert, who is author of the chili recipe, buys our Gallberry by the box full. He is a lovely man. I agree about the architecture, reminds me of mid-century modern diners and the old Krystals.

Krispy Kreme is great, go when the hot light is on for maximum freshness. Waffle House... Think of it more as a meal and entertainment. It's satisfying greasy comfort food with live boxing if you're lucky!

He specifically got unsweetened tea but I was leaving it to someone else to take that battle. Unsweetened tea at Chick-fil-A pfffffttttt
CFA unsweet tea is delicious though 𧑠I never get sweet tea anywhere, so I can tell you their unsweet stands out as one of the best around. I know of only one restaurant with a comparably good iced unsweet black tea, and itβs a local BBQ place in northern Virginia, not a chain.

Rocklands BBQ in Arlington π₯° obsessed with that place. They have such good tea and the cucumber salad is so good I copycatted it and make it at home regularly. And of course, delicious meat and sauces.
Omg I love that place ππ₯° siiiigh I gotta get back home. I've been roving for dang near a decade and only in the past couple of months I've gotten so home sick.
