I donโ€™t think there is a simple answer here. Everyone wants something different from it. As long as it helps achieve these goals for the individuals, itโ€™ll be fine.

Another factor is sustainability without external benefactors, or a dependence on few individuals. We could probably draw some parallels with Linux, and potentially learn from that.

I would also argue that having a strong leadership for the protocol is essential to its success. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿซก
