A better way would be to allow streaming of torrents. This is more of a vibe hack proof of concept.

I just describe the app. For this I said:
let's create a real nostr client with nip7 authentication, absolutely no placeholder data. We will filter notes on popular relays for kind 1 notes that ONLY contain the hashtag #kinostr. We will extract the video from that note, and share it as a clickable video to watch. We do not need to show any of the note text.
In terms of UI, I want it to function like Youtube. Again, no placeholder fake data, we are building an actual nostr client that filters out videos from kind 1 notes with hashtag #kinostr

On Android it would be no problem. I use stremio, and it is on the Play store. It is a Netflix clone that uses torrents as one of its video sources. Open Source, and available for almost every OS, plus a web client.

Almost everything I post is from archive.org it has a huge library of older films.
Archive has to be one of the most useful websites. I use it to get lossless tracks and emulator games all the time.

this is so nice! i was thinking myself to build a client like this. i know a lot of "pirates" love those streaming sites rather than downloading files.
i was thinking of encouraging people to put the tmdb id of a movie in the tags, and then build a client that only shows video events with existing tmdb id's.
