I'm basically full doxxed at this point, wondering if I should just ditch my nym and go by my real name? π€
Can I really build a b2b Bitcoin business as a nym?

Thatβs what Iβm doing.
So jealous. Iβd do it too, but Iβm really F.R.O.G.
But utxo is such a cool name. Maybe do a () with your name in it? π§
No harm in trying I guess.
When I was on the bird app I was fully doxxed, I tried to hide myself after becoming a maxi.
What Iβm concerned at the moment is my NSEC, I experimented a lot when I came to nostr.
I think the answer may depend in large part on your motivation for being a nym in the first place
Secondary nym that is more like a name?
Jesus christ, I'm the slowest person on Earth. I just realized that nym is short for pseudonym.
I have no idea who you are...
Consider a full privacy reboot a la Michael Bazzell. Can do most of it yourself, or his firm will do it for $$$ (perhaps BTC).
This is a good idea for all Pleba, esp. When we get into another pump
Nyms definitely have a half-life.
I haven't missed posting irl stuff.
I figure I'll share more if there's a reason.
In the end, it's about whatever supports your goals.
your doxxed but the nym is recognizable, keep it. its like marketing. no one cares or wants to know about your full name except spooks and creepies
Nyms add respect in this space, at least from my perspective. Using a Nym tells me extra things about your thinking and how long you've been interested in the cypherpunk space. The implication is a stronger understanding of the risks of bearer assets.
I use my Nym at local meet ups even though there are people there who know my government name because we met via non #bitcoin connections. Bitcoiners are cool people like that so no one has doxxed me. I trust them not to. Some at my local group are Nym or government first name in person.
TLDR, even if you end up fully doxxed, keep using the Nym.
