I lived in Colombia one summer while I was in college. Fantastic experience but it really does give you perspective. I had never seen poverty like that. Made me appreciate America so much more. Perspective is so important💯

Yeah I used to think Mexico was poor, then I went to the Southeast Asia. Things we take for granted in America don’t exist elsewhere
What year did you go? I would like to do an Asia trip and hit both China and Russia but will prob be at least ten years before I get a chance to do so

Downtown Phoenix is pretty rough now tho, they have tents and stuff down there . I used to work in central / downtown phx right after college and it has gotten much worse since. But Scottsdale is nicer than ever. A lot of Cali money flowed in cuz of covid
