Capitalism didn’t lead to the dystopia you speak of. Everything these businesses are doing are costing them money and profit to promote a moral ideology to get/keep their ESG scores up, to get investment money. The pyramid is inverted where the customers should control the market, but now big investors do.

I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart for over 20 years. I don’t shop at Amazon. I stopped shopping at Target two years ago when they started selling chest binders to teenagers (and went back to Wal-Mart which makes their managers take training on how to be racists 😩). I do realize the limits of these decisions and how they’re more symbolic in this world and have written this entire article about it last year:

That being said, Bud Light should be a wake up call. AB InBev had to sell several brands, including Red Hook, meaning I can drink Red Hook again! Now that is a positive change! That shows when pushed to the wall, people can make a difference with purchasing decisions.
