I generally like discussing politics, but I usually avoid it due to the number of people who apparently believe being personally insulting, and engaging in fallacious arguments are an acceptable part of having these discussions. Intellectual bankruptcy, ad hominens, and straight up insulting personal attacks are the bread and butter of too many people when it comes to discussing political matters.

I also enjoy talking about network engineering, and most tech related topics. I think those discussions are important to being well-rounded, and informed on the latest technology for those of us who work in tech-related fields. It makes us better, and helps us understand more about the world we occupy.
