No, the reason we are at psycho inflation levels is because we printed $10tril+ in the last couple of years..
Companies don’t cause inflation by raising prices, this is not true. This is a government narrative to not blame the printing…

Correct. Good point. But companies are the agents of redistribution of wealth always used by the government. When one or more companies come to have so much influence in the Markets or worse political influence, they become the perfect allies to help distribute the printing of so much paper money.

Besides it being an obvious government parroting one doesn’t have to be a hardcore Austrian economist to realize that if demand goes up and supply doesn’t, price increases to keep up.
Anyway I think they already ticked the “greedy corp” box and are now at “Putin” or something. I’m sure they will get to “Bitcoiners hoarding their money” in a year or two.

No, but actually yes. You see there are usually about 20-30 people on the board of directors. One board-of-director-person can sit in 4-7 different company-boards. So you see, if one company does this, the "idea" will spread rapidly to the largest 70-100 companies within a week. It's not the only reason, but it is certainly a huge factor.
