Man, I might get the flu shot next year. Or the year after (does the immunity from this year carry on into next year possibly? 🤔). I haven't gotten one the last few years. Not really out of any prinicpled decision. Just kind of like "do I really need that thing" and "how honest were you guys really about the covid shot" and I never went to the doctor in the fall where they would be like "hey do you want this thing?"

But my wife and I have the flu right now and we are 5-6 days of being varying degrees of miserable. Fevers, chills, aches, congestion, and now coughs. Each day waking up thinking it will turn and it's still there. Finally today we don't have fevers, which is an improvement. But all the other stuff is still strong. Ugh.

Would the flu shot have helped this year? I don't know. It would've been cool if one of us had gotten it and the other hadn't so we could compare. But that's not really an experiment to set out to run.

Anyway. I'm gonna take some Sudafed and try to write some lesson plans before my son wakes up. Have a great weekend friends. And don't come in contact with me. lol
