I'm not sure I could acquiesce either. I made a zero-tolerance policy against control freaks about 15 years ago. It's cost me some jobs, but every walk out has led me to a better path.

Wow. I know exactly what you’re talking about. It’s costly, but invaluable. Oddly, realizing i could choose sovereignty, made me more patient and compassionate to many. Because i was choosing it outside of obligation

Wow! You've nailed something here. The power of choice, exercising sovereignty, bringing one to a higher status, even when it means walking away from an abuser when you have no other plan.

We can’t love without the freedom not to. This truth cascades down to all other levels. This is why God never violates choice. He values the preservation of freedom and sovereignty even more than we do.

By that logic, anyone limiting choice is blasphemous. I think I can agree to that to a degree.
