For btc? It's still very very slow.
Even when we want to convert it into sats on lightning network. Still very slow on Bitcoin.
A Visa transaction can be reversed up to 180 days after payment is sent. Final settlement on bitcoin layer 1 is about 1 hour (6 confirmations)
Sending sats on lightning network is instant.
Well yes, that's the point. There are other blockchains that can beat 1 hour of BTC transaction before it turned into sats.
If we're talking about massive adoption, ppl need to find a reason why they need to convert 2 times their money from fiat-BTC-Sats if they can find the simpler way to convert fiat-other blockcains that have similarity of sats speed transaction.
Like this nostr for example, the transactions of sats increase drastically after many users migrated to nostr and start using it. Because they "forced" to use lightning network if they want to zap zap.⚡😁
Needs to be transacted with. Hoarding is fine now but adoption means actually buying stuff with it.

Muun wallet, BlueWallet, Wallet of satoshi are all very straight forward. I’m not sure I agree
yes, and they are custodial, except Muun which is a very good on-chain wallet with features that allow you to make/receive payments via Lightning, Bluewallet is self-custodial on the on-chain but custodial on Lightning, unless you connect it to your own node, and it is not easy, and Wallet of Satoshi is also custodial, other wallets that try to have a simplified user interface are Phoenix, Breez, these are self-custodial, but they still need a certain level of learning by the user, there is other very good wallets but they are complicated for novice users and we didn't help when we started using words like cryptography, seed phrase, UTXO, novices get lost... you have to simplify the language and the user experience... but that's it just my opinion...

Wealth will continue to flow to it because capital and talent always flows to where it is respected and protected. Those who figure this out sooner will get bitcoin at a cheaper price than those who figure it out later
