buying cables that have braided nylon is a big start but maybe question how much you want to move your hardware around, maybe try a desktop computer

I did that, doesn't help. Nothing helps. Use cable until it breaks then get a better quality cable 🤷‍♂️

so summary of tips i got here

- use Segru clay

- use shrink heating tube w a lighter

- buy Nylon cable

- buy Nylon cable, w lifelong guarantee

segru clay is some funny polymer shit? does it need to be heated or does it just oxidise to rubbery after you open it?
