It kinda reminds be of the book, How I Found Freedom In An Unfree World by Harry Browne.
Loved that book. From what I remember it was a lot easier to "opt out" back then. The amount of laws, regulations, kyc and surveillance is insane these days.
I disagree, sort of. I mean, it's harder to start an analog business, get a business bank account and get some of those PPP loan forgiveness bucks, but you could start an agorist food truck.
We also have the Internet, a censorship resistant comminications protocol. We have eBay on Nostr. You could sell a webinar on nostr nests.
You can start a business with 12 words and a laptop.
