Does anyone use https://nostr.net/ ?

If so, what do you think?

#asknostr

Just did and found some cool things. Very nice.

These tools are a game changer. I use perplexity deep research a lot.

Regarding CPI, we've known it's a scam for years and the government apologists (media/economists) don't care.

Personally to measure inflation I've been using unofficial proxies like ShadowStats, M2 or a custom index that includes energy, shelter, food (meat), and median wage.

Hello Antoni! This is beautifully written.

Yeah FUD will always be around. In fact FUD that has been rebutted countless times and for many years is still around.

It's human nature for some. People who are butthurt that Bitcoin hasn't died yet at 100K, because they dismissed it back when it was 1K, are going to keep dismissing it and spreading the same FUD that got them to the very end.

After all they can't embrace Bitcoin now that it's a 100K. First they don't have enough savings to buy a whole coin, and second the government is going to ban it just any day now don't you know? 🤣

Oh no, I can't stand this guy. He's supposedly an economist who worked on Wallstreet (swamp) as a trader. But his whole shtick is about wealth inequality because the rich oppress you, so you should vote for someone like him.

How is Devuan doing compared to other Systemd free distros like Void?

Looking forward to it.

Your podcast is going great. Maybe it will make for a good episode.

I've been listening to The Investors Podcast for many years and some of my favorite episodes are when they go deep on a stock idea and the thought process behind it.

Just be careful not to "get married" to an idea just because you talked in public about it.

I'm also building a list of interesting equities to be ready when the right time or price comes. What kind of long-term moat do you think Fold has? In the short term, I’d be cautious about an equity as it enters the public market. The first year or two is often when insiders tend to cash out.

I made the mistake of taking the easy route. Now I have to start from scratch. It really is a trap! nostr:naddr1qvzqqqr4gupzq9h35qgq6n8ll0xyyv8gurjzjrx9sjwp4hry6ejnlks8cqcmzp6tqqxnzden8yunvwp4xserzve3lrm3g3

I love getting my news on nostr. The less email and web I need to use, the better. nostr:naddr1qqxnzden8yenqdpk8yunyvfsqgsrclwzckr7ans9p77xtqymzcyarys8lqja6an4fwvst6w2spty92qrqsqqqa28qs880n

Or nostr might be one of the few networks to survive. Facebook and Twitter are already full of bots and they can never get rid of them. Since the nostr protocol doesn't enforce the algo, the clients/apps/relays are free to experiment and adapt. We are free to rely on webs of trust or curated feeds or AI powered DVMs or zap filters, etc. The point is, I wouldn't bet against the open source, open access, decentralized network.

Of course they should. Manufacturers should strive to produce vehicles that their clients want to buy. Not the vehicles that the bureaucrats think their clients should have.

I've always loved the 1965 record of this song by Stefka Sabotinova. But your friends' voice and arrangement were so beautiful that I'm not afraid to admit it... It made me cry. Thank you.

Ah nostalgia. Us 90s kids can relate. The soundtrack is one of my favorite piano pieces. For the wondering nostriches it's called "Maxence Cyrin - Where is my mind".
