This is the last I have see Max Keiser suggesting people follow him into El Salvador
Ask nostr:npub1pq2ll9l7qdmxsfqyrd5w9gul8c7ftqy9yepcqvc8a2l2ys9zhd6sk42rew, she would know
Yup. Almost all of them are.
NGU, NGU, NGU, it's all they talk about.
But he's not a regular civilian. He's a trillionaire of course, governments are gonna be in contact with him. That's what trillionaires do.
Plus
Who cares? He has helped so many people in their lives with the information that he has gave humans.
Exactly my thoughts π€
Sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one. He makes money from it π
I also watched RT from around 2009, because I was pissed off with bank bailouts, and sick of one sided Western narratives. It was good to see Max having a good old rant about the banksters, and he would regularly speak with guests in the second half of each show, also talking about how F'd up the financial system was.
It was content that just would not be allowed to be aired on Western TV, because it didn't fit in with Western propaganda.
Max was not alone on RT. There were many dissidents there for the same reason. RT is a Russian propaganda outlet, so it made sense for them to give these shows a platform. It was a gateway into finding many other like minded sound money people.
The Keiser report was what originally got me into Bitcoin in 2011, as I was looking for alternatives to fiat. So I have to thank Max for that.
Max announced that he became a Bitcoin millionaire in early 2013, when 1 Bitcoin got you $46. So anything denoted in fiat must be basically free for him now. He has generally been proved right about what he's been saying about Bitcoin all this time.
V well said
I posted something about looking through early Keiser Reports. I did find that one gem of information.
People forget it took balls to ride Bitcoin from 2011 to 2013. I certainly didn't!
He's literally part of the el salvador state so yeah, by definition he's a state actor at this point.
Also, considering how long he already gets bitcoin, I doubt he has any patience whatsoever, and on top of the attitude he has, he's definitely the type that seems like he'd wanna force people to accept bitcoin. Which is exactly what el salvador did. It's legal tender, so you're forced to accept it if someone wants to pay only with bitcoin.
I don't condone any of this.
Bitcoin has to be consensual.
I agree it is forced. But what would you recommend as a nation? Making everything to a legal tender? Or better donβt have a legal tender at all?
No legal tender at all and way more education programs on it, so people can decide for themselves. "Hey, probably a good idea to have a look at this, it would help you out a lot in the long run". If they don't want to learn, so be it, leave them be. I'm sure there are, or will be, plenty that do.
