Some folks on Twitter are saying that nostr is failing due to a plateau in user / event growth. There's certainly a lot of work to be done before normies will find the user experience to be simple enough.

But, on the flip side, I'm tracking a variety of Twitter metrics and it seems to be falling apart.

All of my Twitter integrations have broken.

Engagement metrics have plummeted.

Twitter Analytics dashboard is broken.

Impersonation bots are running wild.

Still no progress on monetization.

I'm blocked from buying Blue.

Everything is terrible.

Twitter is getting worse by the day. I can't post anything without instantly getting those ETH MEV bots flooding my comments.

I see verified accounts all over the place dropping drainer links for those stupid meme coins. Verified scam accounts? WTF?

I can get drop a tweet and get hundreds of views by using only 2-3 trending words but my followers don't see half of my genuine tweets?

I see notifications that "this tweet can't be viewed because of someone somewhere requested it so it cannot be viewed in [insert list of all EU countries]. But no, it's not censorship. So what is it?

Twitter is done and nostr can take all the time it needs to grow and get adopted. It is already beating Twitter in quality of content now and engagement is 10x better and more genuine than on bird app.
