Nostr Web Client

Some folks on Twitter are saying that nostr is failing due to a plateau in user / event growth. There's certainly a lot of work to be done before normies will find the user experience to be simple enough.

But, on the flip side, I'm tracking a variety of Twitter metrics and it seems to be falling apart.

All of my Twitter integrations have broken.

Engagement metrics have plummeted.

Twitter Analytics dashboard is broken.

Impersonation bots are running wild.

Still no progress on monetization.

I'm blocked from buying Blue.

Everything is terrible.

Just need to take care because at some point twitter changed the terms to ban any promotion of another platforms (and they listed nostr explicitly there)

I know it was removed after, but it would be interesting to check their terms before doing it or promoting a mob for doing that :)

Twitter is getting worse by the day. I can't post anything without instantly getting those ETH MEV bots flooding my comments.

I see verified accounts all over the place dropping drainer links for those stupid meme coins. Verified scam accounts? WTF?

I can get drop a tweet and get hundreds of views by using only 2-3 trending words but my followers don't see half of my genuine tweets?

I see notifications that "this tweet can't be viewed because of someone somewhere requested it so it cannot be viewed in [insert list of all EU countries]. But no, it's not censorship. So what is it?

Twitter is done and nostr can take all the time it needs to grow and get adopted. It is already beating Twitter in quality of content now and engagement is 10x better and more genuine than on bird app.

Let them trash it. Every bird app loss and screw up is a win for nostr

I'm definitely already happy with #Nostr. Haven't used #Twitter in months and won't go back. I want to own my identity and engage with great people. I also don't want an endless, algorithmically generated feed that tries to steal as much of my time as possible.

Yes. I noticed the same. And for a privacy concerned project like ours we don’t _want_ to collect user emails. So only way to communicate to our users is Twitter. This is insecure - so we will get on nostr now. Recently we saw youtube cancel Swan. No one is sacred.

I got permanently suspended after using it for 14 years. I don’t even know what went wrong. They won’t tell me. Appeals are rejected automatically right away.
