Like many of you I'm still discovering the Nostr universe and trying to figure out how these communities work. Trying to organize main topics to keep them easy to browse is not obvious and until other LN node admins join this community, I am mostly improvising. Don't be shy and share your ideas here ;-)

I like the idea of forming a community "ring of fire".
Being able to contact the node admins in case of a system crash to ask them to force close the channels would certainly make me feel more comfortable. If it's one my peers that crashes, I don't have to wait for days or weeks to see whether or not they make it back online. If the balance is mine I would close sooner, but if the channel is empty on my side I would probably just leave it to avoid paying the fees for nothing.
