A heads up for nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev

Soon it might make sense for people like Guy to spin up a Text-to-Speech DVM that matches their recordings with articles they've read.

My dream:

1. Open an article (in let's say Highlighter).

2. Click a play button.

3. Select Guy (if he read the article) among the other DVM's providing this service and pay him some sats. (or he might throw up a Crowdwall or sth)

4. Listen to the article and highlight any insight (splitting the zaps on those between everyone involved)

#podcast #dvm

that's such a cool idea!!!

Well sometimes when im reading an article and recording it sometimes when i mess up ill ad lib words that arent there just to make it coherent. But still maintain thr jist of what was being said.

Love this idea

Nostr to self: #dvm in the nostr context stands for "Data Vending Machine", something like a micropayment coin-operated API that ingests micropayments and data as raw inputs and emits processed data as output. The relevant protocols are Lightning L402, PSBT (BIP 174), and NIP-90, though apparently it's so new (or controversial, I dunno) that it's not yet merged into https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips (see pull req 495).

What #dvm (context: Bitcoin/Lightning/Nostr) isn't:

* Dalvik Virtual Machine (context: Android/not-Java)

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

* Dynamic Video Memory (context: GPU RAM)

* Dividend Valuation Model (context: finance)
