Having this window feeder has been a blast. Watching how they move, the sounds they make, etc has been sheer joy.

I stepped out yesterday when one was approaching, and we spooked each other. She took off at high altitude.

Today, she approached while I was talking to a neighbor. We were about four feet away from the feeder. When she saw us, she did a 180 and ducked behind a corner. She peered out, decided it was safe, and came toward the feeder (and us), took some brief sips, and zipped away.
