Britain was one of the greatest empires in history but now they are a mockery. Someday the greatness of the US will be a memory of the past and Americans will be mocked the same way. We can already see the transition happening as America’s power slips.
Eventually, Bitcoin will kill nationalism and the sovereign individual will be born! Future generations will look at nationalism the same way we look at barbaric tribes practicing sacrifices to sun gods.
the US is located on one of the best areas of earth as far as natural harbors, navigable rivers (Mississippi) overlaying fertile farmland... comparable only to France and Argentina
perhaps the corporate exploitation of the land and people of the US will fade into a memory and the people who live on the land will grow healthier and own more of the fruits of their labor.
That’s what I hope will happen. I think it’s possible that US states start to secede and government shrinks as it becomes difficult to abuse and extort the people.
Speaking of Britain’s downfall, I think it may be interesting to find books that detail the fall of the Pound from WRC status. Studying those dynamics and other historical WRC transitions could hint at what to expect for the fall of the USD.
Well the pound still exists today but it’s just lost a lot of purchasing power. I think the dollar will experience something similar. Maybe not a total collapse but a pretty bad shitcoin.
