The pandora box of image and big amount of data shilled multiple times on multiple relays by multiple nostriches..

Not sure it is technically correct, but maybe no-coder like me will understand it better. 😅

O..kay 😅

😂

I think it's the ability to post images directly to NOSTR ( in other words the relays).

So far images have been represented by links , but not directly hosted on relays if you catch me.

it's a little slice of the nostr protocol

Oh oh

Pandora’s box

Haha is an extreme disagreement on how to handle images in nostr notes 😂

NIP-94

draft optional author:frbitten author:kieran author:lovvtide author:fiatjaf

The purpose of this NIP is to allow an organization and classification of shared files. So that relays can filter and organize in any way that is of interest. With that, multiple types of filesharing clients can be created. NIP-94 support is not expected to be implemented by "social" clients that deal with kind:1 notes or by longform clients that deal with kind:30023 articles.

From reading NIP-94, is mainly a way to ensure that you're getting the file(say image file) you're supposed to get from a link/URL - it does that by having hash of the file in the note content.

If the file contents change then the hash becomes different & you can identify the file has been tampered with.

Hash - is kind of like a cryptographic signature for contents of a file.
