For what it's worth, oxytocin did evolve this way in the brain. The square hole in this context is oxytocin, and all the problems the brain tried to solve with it was the pegs.

Kind of beautiful the simplicity of such reuse though, and possibly more efficient than using multiple systems.
My thinking is that society is trying to bread out our ability to fight back, but oxytocin won't let us.
I think it's politicians and other power hungry people like entitled voters that are trying to eliminate our fight and our reason, but it's testosterone that won't let us lay down and take it.
