Nostria is deployed in Africa, Europe and North America at the moment. Regionality is an important aspect of social media. New users on Nostria, will connect to relay and media server that are located in the same region.

While there is plenty of spam on Nostr, connecting to a regional relay will contain more locally relevant content, improving the user experience.

Our efforts to be available in many global regions should also include us supporting multiple different languages.

While we won't translate the whole app just yet, we did add support for multiple languages, including isiZulu and Kiswahili. Unfortunately we can't read it, we hope our community will contribute making Nostria a great experience in many of the worlds languages.
