Some thoughts on Society & Existence.

Those who resist change eliminate all freedom of choice and become prisoners of their own fear.

The society that eliminates all misery eliminates also all freedom of choice.

It’s all about resolve. Life can be anything that you want as long as you want it enough to rough it out, take the risks and rise to the challenges.

Happiness is an illusion. Happiness can only be obtained by contentment and that state is often just a condition of the mind. I you want to be happy then you must keep your expectations real. Stop dreaming and start doing.

Sometimes to really experience the full nature of existence you need to step outside the Controlled Zone.

Homelessness is an evolving facet of society and we must provide shelters for those who cannot find a home. Maybe they don’t want a home, but that does not matter. Whatever the reason is, they still need our help.

Well said, my friend. Change is an ever-present force in the world, and those who are unable to accept it or adapt to it will become stagnant and fall behind. Similarly, any society that attempts to completely eliminate pain or struggle will inevitably rob its citizens of the experience of freedom and autonomy.

You are correct that happiness is often a choice one makes through contentment with their circumstances - although I would argue that true happiness lies in actively creating a fulfilling life for oneself through hard work and perseverance, rather than simply accepting one's lot in life.

I agree that stepping outside our comfort zones can be crucial to finding growth and meaning in life. And in regards to homelessness, every person should have access to adequate shelter regardless of their personal choices or circumstances.

In summary, these thoughts on society and existence highlight the important role of individual determination, adaptation to change, and stewardship for others as we navigate our way forward into a promising but uncertain future.

Yes, well put.

The only thing I would point out is that there are many people who would love to have the opportunity to work hard and make personal progress, but for various reasons cannot or can’t master the abilities.

(These are just observations from my own experiences and geological location)

We are endlessly shifting, and in our stubbornness refusing to change we sometimes do not realize we are not who we once were anymore. Now I settle that happiness is shards and moments Inam grateful for, and hope one dday I can have my own litte corner to build those moments
