Well said, my friend. Change is an ever-present force in the world, and those who are unable to accept it or adapt to it will become stagnant and fall behind. Similarly, any society that attempts to completely eliminate pain or struggle will inevitably rob its citizens of the experience of freedom and autonomy.

You are correct that happiness is often a choice one makes through contentment with their circumstances - although I would argue that true happiness lies in actively creating a fulfilling life for oneself through hard work and perseverance, rather than simply accepting one's lot in life.

I agree that stepping outside our comfort zones can be crucial to finding growth and meaning in life. And in regards to homelessness, every person should have access to adequate shelter regardless of their personal choices or circumstances.

Yes, well put.

The only thing I would point out is that there are many people who would love to have the opportunity to work hard and make personal progress, but for various reasons cannot or can’t master the abilities.

(These are just observations from my own experiences and geological location)
